Sun Jichao, an associate professor at China University of Geosciences, Beijing, has long been engaged in research on ground sediment, groundwater seepage mechanics, water-sand interactions, and geotechnical engineering. Dr. Kuo-Lin Huang is an Emeritus Professor of the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering at National Pingtung University of Science and Technology (NPUST), Taiwan. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Environmental Engineer from Clarkson University (USA) in 2001. His current research interests are broadly clustered in the areas of environmental and electrochemical technologies. He is particularly interested in developing electrochemical techniques for removal/degradation/remediation of pollutants, monitoring/abatement of toxic air pollutants, resource recovery, fabrication of electrodes/sensors, and proton exchange membrane fuel cells. Prof. Huang has participated in the scientific committee of several conferences and associations and serves as a reviewer in a wide range of international renowned journals and for grant proposals of some institutes in different countries. He is an author or a co-author of more than 105 papers in SCIE journals (H-index: 31 from Google Scholar and 29 from Scopus in 2025). He has been on the editorial board of Processes (Section Board for Environmental and Green Processes) since 2021. He also served as a guest editor for some special issues of two SCI journals (Environmental Science and Pollution Research and International Journal of Hydrogen Energy). He was a director of Association of Chemical Sensors in Taiwan (ACST) from 2014 to 2016 and a supervisor of Taiwan PM2.5 Control Association (PMCA) (2020–2024) and is a supervisor of Taiwan Association for Aerosol Research (TAAR) (2008–2026).

Amrane Abdeltif is a Professor of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, specializing in air and water treatment. He is affiliated with ENSCR–UMR CNRS 6226 at the Institut des Sciences Chimiques de Rennes, France. With a distinguished academic career at the University of Rennes, he has served in several senior roles including Head of the Chemistry Department, Deputy Director of the Technological Institute (IUT), and Director of the Technological Institute of Rennes. He has also held international research positions in Malaysia and has been a member of the Algerian Academy of Science and Technology since 2025. Dai-Yeun Jeong is the Director of the Asia Climate Change Education Center and an Emeritus Professor of Environmental Sociology at Jeju National University, South Korea, positions he has held since March 2012. He earned his BA and MA in Sociology from Korea University and holds a PhD in Environmental Sociology from The University of Queensland. With a robust academic and professional career, Professor Jeong has served as a faculty member at Jeju National University since 1981 and has held prominent roles including President of the Asia-Pacific Sociological Association and a teaching position at The University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom. His extensive contributions to environmental policy and sustainable development include serving on the Presidential Commission on Sustainable Development in South Korea, representing the South Korean Government at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and OECD Environmental Meetings, and contributing to over 100 environment-related projects funded by domestic and international organizations. He has also authored 13 books, including Environmental Sociology, and published 60 academic papers in both domestic and international journals.

Prof. Zhou Xiaomin is a distinguished Professor at the School of Civil and Resources Engineering, University of Science and Technology Beijing. He holds a Ph.D. in Tunnel and Bridge Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University, a Master’s in Mining Construction from China University of Mining and Technology, and a Bachelor’s degree from Shandong University of Mining and Technology. Prof. Felix T. S. Chan is currently Vice Dean and Professor at Macau University of Science and Technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Flexible Manufacturing Systems and a Master’s in Advanced Applied Mechanics from Imperial College London. With over three decades of academic experience, he has held teaching and leadership roles at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the University of Hong Kong, the University of South Australia, and the University of Strathclyde. I am the CEO of S.H.Tech and lead the Infrastructure Asset Management Forum. I earned my master's degree in architectural structure and my doctorate in civil structure from Hanyang University in Korea and have been teaching and practicing at universities and research institutes for 20 years.I have a keen interest in infrastructure maintenance and have led various projects in infrastructure asset management consulting and AI-based maintenance. In 2016, I developed and registered the infrastructure asset management standard in Korea. I have also conducted research on infrastructure maintenance strategies and lifespan prediction using AI technology.Research utilizing these technologies has resulted in over 40 published papers in journals such as the Korean Society of Railway and the Korean Society of Civil Engineers. I currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Asset Management Subcommittee of the Korean Society of Civil Engineers, has been an asset management instructor for the Korea Waterworks Association (since 2015) and is an IAM Endorsed Trainer in Korea In particular, I successfully led the implementation of AI technology at seven water purification plants operated by K-water, a public institution responsible for Korea's metropolitan waterworks, from 2022 to 2024. This included the establishment of an AI-powered autonomous water treatment process, an EMS for power savings, and a PMS system for pump failure prediction. This resulted in a reduction in strategic costs by over 24% and chemical input by over 30%.

Dr. Obonyo is the Director of the Global Building Network, a partnership between the UNECE and Penn State. She is also an Associate Professor of Engineering Design and Architectural Engineering. Dr. Obonyo was a 2015/ 2016 Jefferson Science Fellow placed with the USAID Global Development Lab in DC. Between August 2005 and July 2015, she was a faculty member at the University of Florida's (UF) Rinker School of Construction Management. Dr. Obonyo has extensive industry experience, having worked as a Construction Engineer, Project Manager and Innovations Analyst in several engineering and construction companies in Kenya, the United Kingdom and the United States. Dr. Obonyo has successfully completed several externally and internally funded research, including several awards by the National Science Foundation (NSF). All these projects include a social-impact focused international education component. Dr. Obonyo's calling is in international research and education. She has created social impact-related international educational experiences for over 2,100 students. Throughout her career, she has strived to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion in our traditionally white, male-dominated building sector. Doctor of Sciences (Engineering), Professor, Academician Mikayel G. Melkumyan (born on June 10, 1951) started his scientific and practical activity in 1973, immediately after graduation from the Civil Engineering Department of Yerevan Polytechnic Institute, carrying out both design and experimental-theoretical research works to study the behavior of various reinforced concrete structures under seismic actions. In 1983 he led the Department of Earthquake Resistant Construction at the Armenian Scientific-Research Institute of Construction and Architecture. After the Spitak earthquake of December 7, 1988 in Armenia, he carried out the deep analysis of consequences of this and other earthquakes and reasons for extensive destructions of various buildings and structures. His research at the Institute of Industrial Science the University of Tokyo resulted in the “Melkumyan Hysteresis Model”, enhancing the understanding of shear behavior in reinforced concrete structures. During a short period of time in 1995-1996, devoting him to the challenge of increasing the earthquake resistance of existing buildings, he developed two unique methods of protecting existing buildings from earthquakes through base isolation, as well as by isolated upper floor and upper slab (roof isolation) without interruption of the use of the buildings. Her work focuses on research related to sustainable urban planning, environmental planning, vulnerability, risk management, and climate change adaptation to build communities that are resilient to natural and human-induced risks. Since joining the Université de Montréal in 2007, Ms. Thomas has been involved in numerous research projects, particularly in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Security. Her most significant contributions include the development of a method for analyzing social and territorial vulnerability to urban flooding and the creation of a resilience analysis tool, RésiliAction, certified by the University of Montreal. She is also involved in strategies for the innovative construction of resilient neighborhoods. Her results lie at the intersection of action research and fundamental research. The latest book she co-edited, La ville résiliente : comment la construire? (PUM), explains the fundamental conditions for establishing resilient communities. Giuseppe Brando is an Associate Professor of Structural Engineering at the University “G. d’Annunzio” of Chieti–Pescara, where he teaches courses in Structural Engineering, Steel Structures, and Seismic Strengthening at undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. He received his PhD in Structural Engineering in 2009 and obtained the Italian National Scientific Qualification as Full Professor in Construction Engineering in 2022. He is Director of the SCAM Laboratory (Testing, Control, Analysis and Modelling), an official laboratory recognized under Italian law for experimental testing of structural materials and systems. His research activity focuses on seismic engineering, large-scale seismic vulnerability and risk assessment, steel and reinforced concrete structures, bridges and infrastructures, existing and historical constructions, seismic protection devices, and innovative structural components manufactured through additive manufacturing. Prof. Brando has authored more than 200 scientific publications in international peer-reviewed journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters, with a current h-index of 25 . He has coordinated and participated in numerous national and international research projects, including European and Civil Protection–funded programs, and currently serves as principal investigator or unit leader in several large-scale research initiatives. Peter Sarlos is a recently retired architect (September 2024), town planner, lawyer, arbitrator, construction adjudicator and accredited expert with over 50 years post post-graduate experience in leadership roles in the building and construction industry in Australia. In addition to his work as an architect, Peter has contributed his expertise as a town planner and lawyer. His skills also extend to the roles of arbitrator, construction adjudicator, and accredited expert, reflecting broad and deep experience across multiple disciplines related to the built environment. He is not an academic having followed a developing awareness of the issues faced by the stakeholders in the industry causing him to develop a collective of cross discipline skills that have allowed him to develop an objective approach to addressing industry problems. His experience was gained in senior practice management in both private and public practices. In the roles of Principal Architect and as a Senior Manager in the Australian Public Service, he was heavily involved in facilities development and management of infrastructure projects of different complexities and values. He had direct involvement in facilities delivery, and facilities management. Mutombo Boaz-Newton is a civil engineering researcher specializing in structural materials, fracture mechanics, and advanced cement-based composites. He earned a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Civil Engineering from Northwestern Polytechnical University, where he built a strong foundation in structural and materials engineering. During his undergraduate studies, he conducted research on rock failure criteria and wellbore stability and received the Best Undergraduate Thesis award for his project, “Thermo–Hydro–Mechanical Coupling Mechanism Associated with Hydraulic Stimulation of an Enhanced Geothermal System,” which applied COMSOL Multiphysics (FEM) for simulation and analysis. She is the director of the Master in International Cooperation: Sustainable Emergency Architecture. Her research focuses on the comprehensive regeneration of degraded and informal settlements developed under the paradigm of sustainable development. Born on June 14, 1945, in Ankara, he has an extensive academic background, including a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering from Northwestern University, USA, and post-doctoral research in Norway and the USA. He has held various academic positions, including Professor and Chairman of the Civil Engineering Department at Özyeğin University and Professor of Earthquake Engineering at Boğaziçi University. He has also served as a visiting professor and scientist at institutions in the USA, Japan, Portugal, and Norway. In 1997, he was awarded a research grant at MIT's School of Architecture and Planning in Cambridge, Massachusetts. During this period he also attended courses at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, which helped to shape his interest in environmental and landscape themes. She currently serves as the President of Tsunami Society International and the CTO of Prometheus Space Technologies, where she bridges the gap between advanced scientific modeling and practical disaster mitigation solutions. With over 15 years of experience in emergency management and numerical modeling, Dr. Barberopoulou has provided critical technical assistance to government agencies and expert panels worldwide. She previously represented California as a numerical modeler for the National Tsunami Hazard Mitigation Program and the California Tsunami Steering Committee. In New Zealand, she served on the Tsunami Experts Panel (TEP), advising the Ministry of Civil Defence and Emergency Management (MCDEM) during active tsunami events. Revansidha D. Chabukswar is an award-winning engineer and academic researcher with more than 18 years of experience in the automotive industry. He has expertise in various domains including Body in White, Vehicle Integration, Interior and Exterior, and Automotive Glass (laminated and tempered), along with extensive experience in product engineering and management. Currently he is working as Product Design and Development Lead at AGC Automotive Americas, a leading supplier of automotive glazing for the North American OEM and aftermarket industries. In the past, he held various engineering positions at leading global automakers, including Mercedes Benz (India and Germany), Toyota North America, Aston Martin Lagonda (UK), Honda R&D Americas, and Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd (India). Dr. Hema Jayaseelan is an Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering at Cedarville University. She holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Civil Engineering from Oklahoma State University and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Government College of Technology, India. A licensed Professional Engineer in Texas and Oklahoma, Dr. Jayaseelan brings extensive industry experience, having served as a structural engineer with Freese and Nichols in Fort Worth, as well as in engineering roles in the United Kingdom and Kansas City. Her research focuses on bridge engineering, structural performance, and concrete-steel composite systems, with publications in leading journals such as ASCE, International Journal of Structural Engineering, PCI Journal, and Structural Engineering International. Passionate about mentoring, she integrates her Christian faith into teaching, inspiring students to use engineering as a means to serve God and communities. María Helena Luengo, Ph.D. is an architect, researcher, and professor at the School of Architecture, University of Puerto Rico. She holds a Ph.D. in Architecture, Energy, and Environment (cum laude) from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), Barcelona, as well as graduate and undergraduate degrees in architecture from Spain and Venezuela. Her academic and research work focuses on sustainability, public space, urban memory, socio-ecological systems, and care-based architectural practices, with a particular emphasis on Caribbean cities. She has published extensively in international journals and books and has presented her research at conferences in Europe, Latin America, and North America. In parallel with her scholarly work, she is actively involved in community-engaged projects that connect the university with local neighborhoods in Puerto Rico, including collaborative urban walks, participatory design processes, and adaptive reuse initiatives. Dr. Reza Soleimanpour is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, specializing in structural health monitoring (SHM) and nondestructive evaluation of infrastructure. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Adelaide, focusing on detecting and characterizing delamination in laminated composite beams using nonlinear guided waves. His research combines experimental and numerical approaches to detect and locate structural defects, with applications in pipelines, concrete, and FRP composites.Dr. Soleimanpour has extensive experience supervising graduation projects, coordinating evaluations, and mentoring students in SHM and nondestructive testing techniques. He has authored several peer-reviewed papers and serves as a reviewer and journal editor. His work emphasizes optimizing sensor placement, improving damage detection accuracy, and advancing resilient and sustainable civil infrastructure.

Kirubel Tefera Gesho is a PhD candidate in Road and Railway Engineering at Southwest Jiaotong University, China, and a lecturer at Dilla University, Ethiopia. His research focuses on the seismic performance assessment of transportation infrastructure, with particular emphasis on seismic fragility analysis and probabilistic seismic demand modeling of highway bridges in moderate-intensity seismic zones. His recent publications address nonlinear time-history analysis, component-level fragility modeling, and the statistical dependence of structural response parameters. He has also conducted applied research on dynamic load effects in airport pavements. Kirubel’s academic interests are structural dynamics, soil-structure interaction, and infrastructure resilience. She is an active member of the RIBA Europe Chapter and its Sustainability and Net Zero Specialist Group, and a registered member of the Official College of Architects of Madrid (COAM).With extensive experience collaborating with leading architectural and engineering firms—including AECOM, Amanda Levete Architects (AL_A), Pascall+Watson Architects, GilBartolomé Architects, and Miralles Tagliabue EMBT—she has delivered complex, energy efficient, and sustainable building projects across the world. Dr. Rodolfo Labernarda is a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Calabria (Rende, Italy), where he obtained a PhD in Civil and Industrial Engineering. He is part of the research group of Structural and Earthquake Engineering led by Prof. Fabio Mazza. His main interests relate to the design procedures, the simulation, and the numerical analysis of isolation systems for structures, consisting of elastomeric and sliding bearings. Another field of interest relates to the supplemental dissipation as a retrofitting technique for buildings. He is also dealing with how the exposure to degradation phenomena of FRCM strengthening systems affects the seismic vulnerability of retrofitted masonry buildings. Dr Yvonne Kiki Nchanji is a Forestry, Livelihood and Sustainability Research Specialist. She currently holds the position of postdoctoral research fellow for the JSPS-UNU Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme, jointly organised by the United Nations University - Institute for Advanced Sustainability (UNU-IAS) and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), Japan. Her current research seeks to evaluate the value chains of both processed and unprocessed Non-Timber Forest Products (NTFPs) in two national parks in the Congo Basin region, located in Cameroon and Gabon. She holds a doctorate in Environmental Policy from the University of Eastern Finland. Dr. Prabowo is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Tarumanagara, where he teaches in both the undergraduate and postgraduate Civil Engineering programs. Her career includes positions as a medical statistician at the Center of Communicable Diseases of Mongolia (2014–2016), researcher at the Environmental Health Sector of NCPH (2000–2014), medical statistician at the General Hospital of Uvs aimag (1999–2000), and medical doctor in the Emergency Department of the same hospital (1996–1999). She has made significant contributions to the advancement of public health in Mongolia, with a strong focus on environmental health, epidemiology, and statistical analysis for disease prevention and control. Prof. Dr. Rayiha Amenzade is a distinguished Azerbaijani scholar in architectural history and heritage conservation, currently serving as Head of the Department of Architecture History & Theory at the Institute of Architecture and Art, Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and a Professor at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction. Born in Baku in 1948, she studied architecture at the Azerbaijan Politechnic Institute (now AzUAC) and went on to earn her second doctorate in 2009, focusing on Azerbaijani architecture from the 11th to 17th centuries. Her research concentrates on the typology, compositional logic, and structural development of medieval Azerbaijani monuments. Noteworthy publications include Architecture of Medieval Azerbaijan (2014) which offers a comprehensive study of material culture, architectural forms and regional traditions. Prof. Amenzade has published over 250 scientific articles and eight major monographs, and her work underpins national efforts to catalogue, preserve and interpret Azerbaijani architectural heritage. Gyamera Ankomah Ebenezer is a Geomatic Engineer, Geological Engineer and a Land Surveyor by profession with over nineteen years of experience in the field of Land Use Administration, Geosciences and Project Management. He is a Land Surveying consultant, a Lecturer (Land Use and Spatial Planning) at the University of Cape Coast, and an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) Tarkwa, Ghana.
