Prof. Felix T. S. Chan is currently Vice Dean and Professor at Macau University of Science and Technology. He holds a Ph.D. in Flexible Manufacturing Systems and a Master’s in Advanced Applied Mechanics from Imperial College London. With over three decades of academic experience, he has held teaching and leadership roles at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the University of Hong Kong, the University of South Australia, and the University of Strathclyde. Kirubel Tefera Gesho is a PhD candidate in Road and Railway Engineering at Southwest Jiaotong University, China, and a lecturer at Dilla University, Ethiopia. His research focuses on the seismic performance assessment of transportation infrastructure, with particular emphasis on seismic fragility analysis and probabilistic seismic demand modeling of highway bridges in moderate-intensity seismic zones. His recent publications address nonlinear time-history analysis, component-level fragility modeling, and the statistical dependence of structural response parameters. He has also conducted applied research on dynamic load effects in airport pavements. Kirubel’s academic interests are structural dynamics, soil-structure interaction, and infrastructure resilience. He actively contributes to interdisciplinary efforts aimed at improving the safety and sustainability of civil infrastructure in seismically active regions.

Dr. Rodolfo Labernarda is a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Calabria (Rende, Italy), where he obtained a PhD in Civil and Industrial Engineering. He is part of the research group of Structural and Earthquake Engineering led by Prof. Fabio Mazza. His main interests relate to the design procedures, the simulation, and the numerical analysis of isolation systems for structures, consisting of elastomeric and sliding bearings. Another field of interest relates to the supplemental dissipation as a retrofitting technique for buildings. He is also dealing with how the exposure to degradation phenomena of FRCM strengthening systems affects the seismic vulnerability of retrofitted masonry buildings. He has served as a reviewer for many international scientific journals. He has also served as an editorial board member for various international scientific journals.

I am the CEO of S.H.Tech and lead the Infrastructure Asset Management Forum. I earned my master's degree in architectural structure and my doctorate in civil structure from Hanyang University in Korea and have been teaching and practicing at universities and research institutes for 20 years.I have a keen interest in infrastructure maintenance and have led various projects in infrastructure asset management consulting and AI-based maintenance. In 2016, I developed and registered the infrastructure asset management standard in Korea. I have also conducted research on infrastructure maintenance strategies and lifespan prediction using AI technology.Research utilizing these technologies has resulted in over 40 published papers in journals such as the Korean Society of Railway and the Korean Society of Civil Engineers. Dr. Obonyo is the Director of the Global Building Network, a partnership between the UNECE and Penn State. She is also an Associate Professor of Engineering Design and Architectural Engineering. Dr. Obonyo was a 2015/ 2016 Jefferson Science Fellow placed with the USAID Global Development Lab in DC. Between August 2005 and July 2015, she was a faculty member at the University of Florida's (UF) Rinker School of Construction Management. Dr. Obonyo has extensive industry experience, having worked as a Construction Engineer, Project Manager and Innovations Analyst in several engineering and construction companies in Kenya, the United Kingdom and the United States. Dr. Obonyo has successfully completed several externally and internally funded research, including several awards by the National Science Foundation (NSF). All these projects include a social-impact focused international education component. Dr. Obonyo's calling is in international research and education. She has created social impact-related international educational experiences for over 2,100 students. Dr Carmen Mendoza Arroyo is an architect and a PhD researcher in Urban Design and Planning. She is an Associate Professor and an Assistant Director at the School of Architecture of UIC Barcelona. She is the director of the Master in International Cooperation: Sustainable Emergency Architecture. Her research focuses on the comprehensive regeneration of degraded and informal settlements developed under the paradigm of sustainable development. Using context-based and community empowerment approaches, her methodology delves into the recognition and mapping of voids and places of urban significance through community participation. M. Atilla Ansal is a Turkish civil engineer and professor at Özyeğin University, Istanbul, specializing in earthquake geotechnical engineering, soil dynamics, seismic hazard analysis, landslide hazard analysis, seismic microzonation, and soil testing. Born on June 14, 1945, in Ankara, he has an extensive academic background, including a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering from Northwestern University, USA, and post-doctoral research in Norway and the USA. He has held various academic positions, including Professor and Chairman of the Civil Engineering Department at Özyeğin University and Professor of Earthquake Engineering at Boğaziçi University. He has also served as a visiting professor and scientist at institutions in the USA, Japan, Portugal, and Norway. Professionally, he has been involved in numerous roles, such as Editor-in-Chief of international journals, President of the European Association for Earthquake Engineering, and Coordinator of multiple research projects on seismic hazard assessment and microzonation. He has contributed to over 120 journal papers, authored several books, and participated in numerous conferences and seminars globally. Carlo Ezechieli is an Italian architect, researcher, and educator noted for his work in landscape architecture, urban regeneration, and the design of open spaces. Born in Bergamo in 1966, he graduated in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1992 and became a licensed architect in 1993. In 1997, he was awarded a research grant at MIT's School of Architecture and Planning in Cambridge, Massachusetts. During this period he also attended courses at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, which helped to shape his interest in environmental and landscape themes. He founded CE-A studio architecture in Milan in 2007, focusing on projects that explore the interplay between buildings and open spaces. Key works include the masterplan for Milan’s original Expo Park, and winning international competitions, such as a new park design for Chengdu, China. Dr. Hiroaki Minoura is a Visiting Researcher at the Asia Center for Air Pollution Research in Japan, with over four decades of experience in atmospheric science and environmental air quality research. He holds a Ph.D. from Nagoya University and has served in key scientific roles, including Senior Researcher at Toyota Central R&D Laboratories and Visiting Professor at Niigata University. His expertise spans air pollution monitoring, regional air quality modeling, nanoparticle behavior, PM2.5 dynamics, and emission control strategies across urban and industrial environments. Dr. Minoura has contributed to major international research collaborations with UNEP, the Asian Development Bank, the U.S. EPA, and Tsinghua University, including advisory support for air quality improvement during the Beijing Olympics. Dr Asim Farooq is the Head of the Centre of Excellence in Transportation/Railway Engineering (COETRE) and the Department of Transportation Engineering at Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology (PAF-IAST), Haripur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Dr Asim has worked as a Researcher and has gained international exposure through collaborations with BMW Germany and Autobahn Südbayern. He currently serves as an International Reviewer for the British Council and works closely with CPEC and China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) authorities on planning and design initiatives. His research focuses on transportation planning and design with particular emphasis on enhancing connectivity, reducing travel times, analysing delays and transfer times, improving travel reliability, and advancing safety and passenger comfort. He has published numerous research articles and has supervised more than 50 Master’s and PhD researchers. He completed his PhD in Transportation Planning Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, China, in 2019. He also holds a Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, Germany, and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering

Dr. Masoud Abedini is an accomplished civil and structural engineering researcher, specializing in the behavior of reinforced concrete and fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) systems under extreme loads. His work spans both experimental and numerical studies, including investigations of residual axial load carrying capacity of RC columns subjected to blast loads. Dr. Ever Enrique Castillo Osorio is a Research Professor in the Geoinformatics and Remote Sensing Laboratory at Yonsei University in South Korea. He holds a Ph.D. in Urban Engineering and a Master’s degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Gyeongsang National University (South Korea), along with a Master’s degree in Disaster Risk Management from the National University of Engineering (Peru). In addition, he is trained as a Systems Engineer and as a Geographical Engineer. Dr. Castillo previously served for over 15 years at the National Service of Meteorology and Hydrology of Peru (SENAMHI), where he held the positions of Geomatics Specialist and, subsequently, General Director of Statistics and Informatics. He has also been a university professor in Peru and has acted as a consultant for academic, governmental, and private sector initiatives in Artificial Intelligence, Smart City development, and Disaster Risk Management.His core research expertise lies in GeoAI (Geospatial Artificial Intelligence), Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Modelling and Simulation, with applications in Disaster Risk Reduction, Smart Urban Systems, and Environmental Monitoring. His current research focuses on the development of precision algorithms for 2D/3D multi-sensor data alignment, automatic change detection, and map composition, as part of the national research project “Multidimensional/Multitemporal Geospatial Data for Efficient Construction of the Digital National Database of Korea.”. Dr. Castillo has authored more than 20 publications in indexed journals and international conference proceedings. He is an active member of scientific and professional networks in Latin America and Asia. His academic trajectory has been recognized on several occasions and reflects a sustained commitment to advancing geospatial technologies to address challenges related to climate resilience, urban resilience and sustainable development.

Alfredo Augusto Vieira Soeiro is a distinguished civil engineer and academic from Portugal, serving as Associate Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering – Constructions at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto (FEUP). He holds a Licentiate degree in Civil Engineering from FEUP, and earned both his Master of Engineering and PhD from the University of Florida in the USA, focusing his doctoral research on optimization of reinforced concrete frames under nonlinear behavior. Prof. Soeiro’s research interests include construction safety, construction management, ICT (information and communication technologies) in construction, modular and prefabricated building methods, digital tools for teaching and learning, and quality assurance in engineering education. Beyond research and teaching, he has held leadership roles in European and international professional organisations: he has served as Secretary General of the Association of European Civil Engineering Faculties (AECEF), Vice‐President of the International Safety and Health Construction Coordinators Organization (ISHCCO), and been deeply involved in quality assurance, e-learning networks, and continuing engineering education projects.

Dr. Foo Keng Yuen is an Associate Professor at University Sains Malaysia (USM), serving as the Deputy Director of the River Engineering and Urban Drainage Research Centre (REDAC). He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and specializes in environmental engineering, focusing on water treatment technologies, waste utilization, catalysis, food security, toxicology, and environmental health. Dr. Narmin Babazadeh Asbagh holds a PhD from the Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture, at Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Famagusta, Northern Cyprus. Her PhD dissertation is entitled “Interpretation Problems and Proposals for the Churches in the Walled City of Famagusta” (2023). Her Master’s Thesis at the Art University of Isfahan (Iran) is about the Conservation of Historic Buildings with the title “Conservation and Revitalization of Mirza Mehdi Farashbashi’s House in Tabriz” (2011). Her Bachelor’s degree is in Architecture from the University of Zanjan (Iran), and her Bachelor’s Thesis title is “Quri-Gol Hostel Designing in Tabriz” (2007). She has published several articles and a book about the churches in the Walled City of Famagusta, Northern Cyprus: “Analysing the Entrances of Churches in Famagusta Walled City” (2018) and “Analysing the Windows of Churches in Famagusta Walled City” (2019). She has also published several conference articles: “The Adaptive Reuse of Cibali Tobacco Factory, Kadir Has University” (2018), “A Short Glimpse to the Urban Development of Tabriz during the History” (2019), and “Adaptive Reuse of the House of Mirza Mehdi Farrashbashi in Tabriz, Iran” (2021). She has been a member of the organizing committee of the “International Conference of Contemporary Affairs in Architecture and Urbanism” since 2018, and she has been reviewing and editing articles in the “Journal of Contemporary Urban Affairs” since 2019. Dr Yvonne Kiki Nchanji is a Forestry, Livelihood and Sustainability Research Specialist. She currently holds the position of postdoctoral research fellow for the JSPS-UNU Postdoctoral Fellowship Programme, jointly organised by the United Nations University - Institute for Advanced Sustainability (UNU-IAS) and the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), Japan. Her current research seeks to evaluate the value chains of both processed and unprocessed Non-Timber Forest Products (NTFPs) in two national parks in the Congo Basin region, located in Cameroon and Gabon. She holds a doctorate in Environmental Policy from the University of Eastern Finland. She has collaborated with international research institutions to study gender differences in forest resources in the Congo Basin, focusing on topics such as access to resources, Indigenous Peoples’ Livelihoods and Communities (IPLC) livelihoods, co-management and decision-making, and sustainable forest management practices. Kirubel Tefera Gesho is a PhD candidate in Road and Railway Engineering at Southwest Jiaotong University, China, and a lecturer at Dilla University, Ethiopia. His research focuses on the seismic performance assessment of transportation infrastructure, with particular emphasis on seismic fragility analysis and probabilistic seismic demand modeling of highway bridges in moderate-intensity seismic zones. His recent publications address nonlinear time-history analysis, component-level fragility modeling, and the statistical dependence of structural response parameters. Dr. Rodolfo Labernarda is a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Calabria (Rende, Italy), where he obtained a PhD in Civil and Industrial Engineering. He is part of the research group of Structural and Earthquake Engineering led by Prof. Fabio Mazza. His main interests relate to the design procedures, the simulation, and the numerical analysis of isolation systems for structures, consisting of elastomeric and sliding bearings. Another field of interest relates to the supplemental dissipation as a retrofitting technique for buildings. He is also dealing with how the exposure to degradation phenomena of FRCM strengthening systems affects the seismic vulnerability of retrofitted masonry buildings. He has served as a reviewer for many international scientific journals. He has also served as an editorial board member for various international scientific journals.

Dr. Riccardo F. is an accomplished architect and academic specializing in sustainable design, housing regeneration, and urban transformation. Dr. Kaouther Selmi is an Assistant Professor of Electronics and Computational Neuroscience at the University of Monastir, Tunisia. Her research lies at the intersection of electronics, nonlinear dynamics, and neural modeling, with a particular focus on simulating brain behavior through mathematical and electronic circuit approaches. She has authored and co-authored several scientific papers on topics such as chaotic neural systems, neuron–astrocyte–synapse interactions, and the application of Bessel functions in modeling multi-dendritic neuron behavior. Dr Mohamed Amine MASMOUDI is an assistant professor in the Supply chain & information systems department of the Rabat Business School (RBS). His main research interest is positioned within the field of green logistics with respect to negative externalities of freight transportation and vehicle routing problems. She earned her Ph.D. in Public Health from Irkutsk State Medical University, Russia, in 2012.Dr. Sambuu has over two decades of professional experience in public health, medical statistics, and environmental health. Her career includes positions as a medical statistician at the Center of Communicable Diseases of Mongolia (2014–2016), researcher at the Environmental Health Sector of NCPH (2000–2014), medical statistician at the General Hospital of Uvs aimag (1999–2000), and medical doctor in the Emergency Department of the same hospital (1996–1999). She has made significant contributions to the advancement of public health in Mongolia, with a strong focus on environmental health, epidemiology, and statistical analysis for disease prevention and control. Her scholarly output is extensive, including over 30 books, standards, and research reports, 15 international papers, 16 international articles, 22 Mongolian papers, and 44 Mongolian articles. Fluent in Russian and proficient in English, Dr. Sambuu actively engages in both national and international scientific communities. Prof. Mahmoud Ghazavi is a renowned expert in geotechnical engineering with over 25 years of academic and research experience. Dr. Ibrahim M. H. Alshaikh is an associate professor in the Civil Engineering Department at the University of Science and Technology, Sana'a, Yemen. He holds a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). His core research expertise lies in progressive collapse analysis, the strengthening and rehabilitation of structures, and the sustainable utilization of waste materials in construction—a focus that directly addresses the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Dr. Alshaikh has a strong track record, having authored more than 47 technical papers, supervised numerous MSc theses, and served as an editorial board member and reviewer for several reputable international journals. His work has earned him multiple awards for academic excellence and significant contributions to the field.

Prof. Dr. Rayiha Amenzade is a distinguished Azerbaijani scholar in architectural history and heritage conservation, currently serving as Head of the Department of Architecture History & Theory at the Institute of Architecture and Art, Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and a Professor at the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction. Born in Baku in 1948, she studied architecture at the Azerbaijan Politechnic Institute (now AzUAC) and went on to earn her second doctorate in 2009, focusing on Azerbaijani architecture from the 11th to 17th centuries. Her research concentrates on the typology, compositional logic, and structural development of medieval Azerbaijani monuments. Noteworthy publications include Architecture of Medieval Azerbaijan (2014) which offers a comprehensive study of material culture, architectural forms and regional traditions. Prof. Amenzade has published over 250 scientific articles and eight major monographs, and her work underpins national efforts to catalogue, preserve and interpret Azerbaijani architectural heritage. Her contributions have been recognized with the “Tərəqqi” medal and a presidential individual scholarship for her service in advancing Azerbaijani architecture and culture.

Gyamera Ankomah Ebenezer is a Geomatic Engineer, Geological Engineer and a Land Surveyor by profession with over nineteen years of experience in the field of Land Use Administration, Geosciences and Project Management. He is a Land Surveying consultant, a Lecturer (Land Use and Spatial Planning) at the University of Cape Coast, and an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) Tarkwa, Ghana. He is a founder and Executive Director of Gyam Engineering & Construction Works Ltd. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Geomatic Engineering and a Master of Science (MSc, research) in Geological Engineering from UMaT.He also holds a Professional Doctorate in Project Management from the Institute of Project Management Professionals (IPMP), Ghana, Masters in Project Management, and Masters in Human Resource Management from the American Academy of Project Management (AAPM), USA and finally Diploma in Mine Surveying from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology School of Mines, Tarkwa, Ghana. His research interest includes Participatory Geographic Information System (PGIS), Land Conflict Resolution, and Project Management.Engr. Surv. Dr. E. A Gyamera (PhD) is a Governing Council member and a distinguished fellow at IPMP, a fellow at AAPM, a professional member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Ghana, and a professional member of Ghana Institution of Surveyors (MGhIS). He is the author of the book titled “Ghana Lands in Focus Vol. 1” and a co-author of a book titled “Cadastre: Geo-Information Innovations in Land Administration

Awolorinke Augustine Chiga is a researcher and urban planner whose work focuses on water governance, urban resilience, and environmental sustainability. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Planning at the University of Melbourne. He holds a Master of Science in Sustainability from the United Nations University–Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability in Tokyo, along with a joint diploma from the University of Tokyo, and a Bachelor of Science in Development Planning from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. His research spans hydro-governance, ecological conservation, institutional dynamics, and nature-based solutions, with publications in leading journals including International Journal of Urban Sustainable Development, Journal of Urban Governance, Journal of Environmental Planning and Management, and Resource Policy. He has contributed to multiple strategic planning projects in Ghana and has participated in global forums organized by UNECE, Global Water Partnership, and Stockholm University. Chiga has professional experience across academia, policy institutions, and development organizations, focusing on research design, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and environmental planning. His ongoing work explores community-led water governance, justice in nature-based solutions, and the socio-political dimensions of resource management in Ghana.
